The UN General Assembly Passed a NON-BINDING Resolution regarding an urgent Humanitarian Ceasefire in Gaza.
In the 193-member parliament of the “UN General Assembly”, 153 Members Voted in Favor of the resolution, while Ten countries, adding the US or Israel, opposed the resolution or twenty-three Countries were absent from the Voting process.
During the General Assembly SESSION, the Countries that Voted opposed to the Resolution on the CEASE-FIRE in GAZA included the Czech Republic, Austria, Guatemala, Papua New Guinea or Micronesia Along with the US or Israel.
Hamas has welcomed the UN General Assembly’s approval of an urgent –CEASE-FIRE– Resolution or Hamas has urged the INTERNATIONAL Community to urge Israel to Implement the Resolution.
It should be noted that this Resolution in the UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY was approved after the failure of the United Arab Emirates’ proposed resolution on the @Ceasefire in the Security Council.
Although the Number of Palestinians martyred by the Israeli Aggression in #Gaza has exceeded 18,000, the unilateral Support of Israel by the US is still continuing.
During a ceremony at the “White House“, US President JOE BIDEN Expressed his determination to continue unwavering SUPPORT for ISRAEL, saying that he will Continue military aid to Israel Until Hamas is eliminated.
On the other hand, US State Department Spokesman MATTHEW MILLER said that a Ceasefire that would leave the leadership of Hamas alive in Gaza would be “unacceptable”. The only Solution to the Gaza WAR is a “Military solution”.
The US spokesman said: “We believe that the only SOLUTION to eliminating the @HAMAS leadership that planned the October 7 attacks is a military solution, but ultimately the broader conflict between Israelis or @Palestinians must be resolved militarily.
On the other hand, Doctors Without Borders, an international organization of DOCTORS, has Described the Situation in Gaza HOSPITALS affected by Israeli aggression as World War I.
In a statement, Doctors Without Borders said that the Situation at the KAMAL ADWAN Hospital in NORTHERN Gaza is extremely disastrous or the disaster like Al-Shafa Hospital is being repeated in other hospitals as Well.
It should be remembered that the UN Secretary General [Antonio Guterres] has also Expressed his disappointment at the Security COUNCIL not passing a Humanitarian Ceasefire Resolution in GAZA a few days ago.
The Antonio Guterres said he regretted that the {Security Council} Failed to CALL for a CEASEFIRE in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Antonio Guterres Wrote a Letter to the (Security Council) to draw attention to the ongoing Humanitarian Israeli operations in Gaza, using the powers under ARTICLE 99 of the UN Charter, in which he Called for Immediate Humanitarian action in Gaza. A CEASE-FIRE was demanded.
