Popular Korean band BTS achieved a historic amount on Friday when they received a top platinum certification for their single ‘My Universe’ from the UK industry.
Soompi clarified that BTS’s hit song ‘My Universe‘ is certified under BPI and this happened after the single surpassed 600,000 units in sales.
With this hit song, the BTS band achieved platinum certification from the UK for the second time, and they achieved this certification in 2021.
The song My Universe is a collaboration between BTS or the British rock band The Song was released in September 2021.
The song was certified silver in the UK two months after its release, or was subsequently certified gold in March 2022 after selling 400,000 units.
