According to Gulf media, the mercury was very close to touching 50 degrees Celsius in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, but the temperature was recorded at 49 degrees Celsius in Al Dhafra area of Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
According to the UAE Meteorology Department, the temperature recorded on Sunday is the highest temperature recorded so far this year. The media reports, citizens are suffering from headaches and migraines due to extreme heat and rising temperatures, and the number of such cases in hospitals is increasing.
The Doctors say that in summer, headache and migraine patients increase 10 to 20 times due to lack of water in the body, changing temperature and unbalanced food.
In this regard, according to a study conducted by Harvard University, for every 9 Fahrenheit increase in temperature, people experience a 7.5% increase in short-term headaches.
It should be noted that an increase in the average global temperature has been recorded in the last week of June and the beginning of July this year.
