The Army Chief General Asim Munir had a Meeting with Afghan FM Amir Khan in which he is Explicit his opinion regarding the border situation or the security of the Region.
The ISPR clarified that the meeting also discussed improving mechanisms to improve security.
On this, Asim Munir said that to end terrorism and to face difficult challenges, we have to increase cooperation with each other.
Along with this, ISPR said that Amir Khan fully supported this tradition of Pak for the Afghan People.
In this meeting, the Afghan Foreign Minister said that we will face Terrorism and difficult issues together with Pakistan and support each other.
Besides, the army chief reiterated full support from the Afghan Govt and preferred to work with Afghans in a peaceful, prosperous manner.
ISPR said that in this meeting they also discussed strengthening their relations and maintaining contact with each other further.
Army Chief Expressed China’s Full Support for CPEC Project:
Along with this, the Army Chief also met the FM of China, whose name is Qin Gang, in which he also expressed his Full Support for China’s CPEC project.
In this meeting, the Army Chief said that CPEC is an Important Ingredient of the Belt and Road Initiative for China.
In it, Qin Gang praised the bilateral relations between the 2 Countries or clarified the growth on the CPEC Project or Reiterated China’s determination to fulfill the project.
Apart from this, they also Appreciated Pak attempt to keep the situation peaceful and at the same time expressed their views on the security recruitment situation.
The IHSPR said that the meeting between the Army Chief OR the Chinese FM ended on a high NOTE in which they reiterated their commitment to Strengthening Bilateral Ties.
