The UK is currently experiencing high inflation and this is causing bus and train fares to rise dramatically.
Media news from other countries have reported that bus and train fares in the UK have increased by 5.9%, and council tax on each household has also been increased by 9.7%.
The prices of all these items will be increased from April 1, 2023.
In this regard, the Mayor of London, who is Sadiq Khan, said that the government could not provide the funds that were supposed to be paid, due to which the rents are being increased.
