The State Bank of Pakistan has released the details of the debt of the Government of Pakistan till the end of July 2023.
In the statement issued by the State Bank, it is said that the debt of Pakistan has increased by 907 billion rupees in July, the debt of the government at the end of July 2023 is 61 thousand 700 billion rupees.
The Central Bank’s statement said that the government’s debt increased by one and a half percent in a month.
In the statement issued by the State Bank, it has been stated that the total debt of the government is 39 thousand billion local while the external debt of the government is 22 thousand 73 billion rupees.
It should be remembered that a few days ago in the report of the Ministry of Finance, it was stated that by March 2023, Pakistan’s foreign debt decreased by 3 billion 600 million dollars, but the value of the dollar increased, due to which the foreign debt owed by Pakistan was Rs 6 thousand billion has increased further.
