In addition, police officers say that due to heavy rain in Islamabad, which is the federal capital of Pakistan, a wall collapsed near Golra Mor on Peshawar Road and 13 people died, including a little girl.
At the same time, the police said that as soon as it happened, Rescue 1122 reached the spot and started rescue operations and 13 people were pulled out from under the debris with the help of a machine. This wall 100 feet long and 11 to 12 feet high, on which workers had pitched a tent, rescue teams are still searching for more people after pulling 13 people out from under the rubble.
The rescue team said that 4 laborers have been pulled out alive from under the debris, but an 11-year-old girl also died in the incident which happened due to rain.
However, on the other hand, due to heavy rain in Rawalpindi, the troops reached Nalla and on the commissioner’s request, they started shifting people from Golmandi and Katarian to other places.
Apart from this, Commissioner Rawalpindi said that the army has been deployed at Nala Lai and the army is ready to face any situation that may arise.
Along with this, the Chief Traffic Officer, whose name is Taimoor Khan, says that whatever situation will arise due to the rain, there will be no disruption to the traffic.
However, the army and traffic officers have taken all measures to deal with the emergency.
