Israel has opened its embassy in Turkmenistan and it is located only 17 km from Iran.
The media of other countries found out that the embassy which has been opened in Turkmenistan has been inaugurated by the FM of Israel.
Important sources revealed that Diplomatic Relations between the two countries were founded 30 years ago and since that time an Embassy was established in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, but Turkmenistan has not yet established its Embassy in Israel.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel has described these steps as a historical event.
Along with this, the foreign minister also says that the Israeli relationship with the energy superpower of Central Asia is of strategic importance.
