Lahore High Court has suspended the order to de-notify the 43 PTI MNA’s who were ordered to be de-notified by the Election Commission.
The Justice of Lahore High Court, whose name is Shahid Karim, heard the petition against accepting the resignation of these 43 members of PTI.
In this regard, the lawyers of PTI said that they accepted the resignation, but the legal requirements could not be fulfilled.
On this, the justice asked the lawyers to tell me which of the requirements of the law could not be fulfilled.
In response to this question, PTI’s lawyers said that when the Speaker accepted the resignations, he did not perform any action under the Constitution and those who resigned themselves went to the Assembly and presented themselves before the Speaker. If not, tell how the resignations were accepted.
While the Election Commission ordered the de-notification of these 43 members, the court suspended the order and also suspended the elections in the 43 constituencies.
Apart from this, the court issued notices to all the members along with them to the Election Commission and got their reply.
