The Election Commission decided that transfer posting will be banned in Punjab and the process has already started.
Along with the ban on transfer posting, the ECP has also banned many new development projects.
In order to implement this, the Election Commission has sent a request to the Chief Secretary, IG, asking to withdraw the vehicles and protocols of all government people, including former chief ministers and former ministers.
Along with vehicles and protocols, they have also been ordered to take back their official apartments and official guest houses.
Apart from this, the ECP has also ordered the monitoring setup to do its daily work.
