The US has announced that it will provide 500 scholarships to PAK flood-affected districts.

The American spokesperson named Nedprice has said that the scholarships for these 500 students have been announced by the Ambassador of the United States named Donald Bloom.

Ned Price explained that Donald Bloom made the announcement on International Women’s Day in Islamabad when a higher education function was being held there.

The US spokesperson said that giving these scholarships will end the financial weakness due to which the students will get full support to study in the universities of Pakistan.

Ned Price also clarified that the US has awarded more than Six thousand scholarships on the basis of scholarships, while more than sixty percent of them were given to women.

Many dignitaries also participated in the event, including Ahsan Iqbal, HEC Chairman and Lt. Gen. along with many other dignitaries.
